Instagram is reportedly testing multiple account switching for iOS.
One of the most-requested features appears to be available for some iPhone users, according to Latergramme(Opens in a new window).
Those lucky few can swap between two (or more) accounts by simply tapping the preferred name at the top of the user profile page. To find out if you’re eligible, visit Settings and scroll down. If you see an “Add Account” option near “Clear Search History” and “Log Out,” you’ve been granted access.
Once signed in, switch between a personal and professional account
without logging in and out. Push notifications will announce which account they’re associated with, Latergramme reported.
“We are always testing new features within our community,” an Instagram spokeswoman told PCMag in an emailed statement.
The social network in November launched this feature in beta for Android; interested users can still sign up(Opens in a new window).
Multiple account switching is already available(Opens in a new window) on Twitter’s mobile app.
