Acer today unveiled its five-in-one notebook that combines a 12.5-inch Full HD display with a powerful Intel Core M processor for versatile computing.
The Acer Aspire Switch 12 comes with a kickstand design and magnetic keyboard to allow for easy transitions between five distinct usage modes: notebook, pad, display, tent, and desktop.

“Through these five modes, users can find a configuration for just about any need and use it as a laptop, tablet with or without keyboard, or desktop PC,” Acer said in a statement.
All that twisting and turning is bound to result in a drop here and there. Which is why Acer has protected the 1,920-by-1,080 display with next-gen Corning Gorilla Glass and treated it with an anti-fingerprint coating.

Additional features include dual front-facing speakers, as well as micro USB 3.0 and micro HDMI ports, and two 2×2 wireless antennas that process data up to twice as fast as traditional solutions, Acer said.
Don’t expect to find an Acer Aspire Switch 12 wrapped up under your Christmas tree this year. The adjustable machine is slated to reach the U.S. and Canada in early 2015. Pricing for the 60GB or 120GB SSD models will be announced at a later date, alongside shipping details.
