Who Will Grab the Gold? How to Watch the Oscars Online

[ad_1]

Three-plus years of a pandemic have made movies more special than ever. We cherish the opportunities to enjoy the best films on the biggest screens with fellow moviegoers. In 2022, that magic continued its return, thanks to a selection of noteworthy movies that drew us to theaters.

On March 12, Hollywood honors those top films at the 95th Academy Awards. Unfortunately, you must watch the show live at home or from another venue unless you’re famous enough to see the celebration in person at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Thankfully, there are many ways to do so.

How to Stream the Oscars

The Oscars will air on ABC, starting at 8 p.m. ET on March 12. If you’ve kept the cord, you can watch the show there. However, you can also watch online(Opens in a new window) via ABC.com or the ABC app by authenticating your account with Spectrum, Verizon, or any other pay TV service provider.

If you’ve fully embraced the streaming lifestyle, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to enjoy the show. DirecTV Stream, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and many others should grant you streaming access to the live ceremony. If you have regular Hulu and can avoid spoilers, the ceremony will be available to stream on Monday, March 13.

Who Is Hosting the Oscars?

This year’s Academy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, his third time hosting. The Jimmy Kimmel Live! star resumes the ringmaster duties after hosting in 2017 (remembered for the infamous La La Land and Moonlight Envelopegate fiasco) and 2018.
