Corsair’s 45-Inch Bendable OLED Gaming Monitor Will Cost a Small Fortune

[ad_1]

Corsair’s 45-inch gaming monitor that can be bent into a curved display using the included handles will be available to pre-order on Dec. 15. It costs a small fortune, though.

Corsair teased pre-orders opening for the Xeneon Flex in an 11-second video on YouTube, with the description confirming the price as $1,999.99. Pre-orders are also limited, meaning Corsair doesn’t have much stock to offer anyone willing to pay that much money for this novel monitor.

First revealed back in August, the Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 has a handle on either side of the display that you can pop out, grab, and pull to convert the flat screen into a curved one. The curvature available maxes out at 800R (a radius of 800mm).

Other than the novel curve or no curve feature, the Xeneon Flex looks to be a very capable gaming monitor. The 21:9 ultrawide display uses an LG OLED panel with a 3,440-by-1,440 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It also supports HDR visuals, as well as both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.
