If you want the best display for your Xbox Series X, Microsoft has some recommendations.
The company is introducing a badge on select monitors and TVs that’ll let you know that the products have been optimized for the latest Xbox console.
“With the amazing visual capabilities of Xbox Series X/S and new display features to consider like HDR, 4K at 120Hz, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), we want to help Xbox fans find the ideal monitor for your preferred gaming experience,” Microsoft said(Opens in a new window) on Tuesday.
The first batch of displays will come from Acer, Asus, and Phillips, which have been working for the past two years to prepare the products for Xbox Series X and S consoles. The badge on the products will say “Gaming Features for Xbox.”
The displays stand out by featuring a 4K-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, through an HDMI 2.1 slot that can hook up to the console. They’ll also support AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro technology, which can prevent screen tearing during gameplay.
The first product is the Philips Momentum 559M1RYV(Opens in a new window), a 55-inch TV that also comes with a soundbar. It’ll retail for $1,599, and arrive this summer. According to Microsoft, the product has a dedicated Xbox picture mode. The display also has a Vesa-certified HDR1000 color range.
Asus Strix Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XG43UQ
The second product is the Asus Strix Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XG43UQ(Opens in a new window), a rather large 43-inch monitor with HDR1000. It arrives in October, but pricing hasn’t been announced.

Acer Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XV282K KV
The third is the Acer Xbox Edition Gaming Monitor XV282K KV(Opens in a new window), a 28-inch monitor. The product features a HDR400 color range and a 1-millisecond response time. It’s slated to launch this fall for $949.
The Xbox Series X and S come with a two-meter long HDMI 2.1 cable, which can hook up to the displays to enable the 120Hz refresh rate. But if you want a longer cord, Microsoft has worked with industry partners to create certified HDMI 2.1 cables(Opens in a new window) that can reach 16- and 32-feet long.
