What’s better than flipping through a fresh pack of Post-It notes? Printing your own.
Samsung Electronics spinoff Mangoslab(Opens in a new window) this week introduced a sticky note printer at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Dubbed Nemonic, the miniature machine connects to a mobile app to digitally organize and print content on the adhesive memos.
“We will contribute to people’s innovative lifestyle and creativity,” Mangoslab CEO Yongsoo Jeong said in a statement.
Expected to retail for about $120, with special paper cartridges costing around $4, according to GeekWire(Opens in a new window), the device will likely hit shelves in South Korea, Japan, and the US in the first half of this year.
No further details were revealed; Mangoslab did not immediately respond to PCMag’s request for comment.
On the Vegas show floor, meanwhile, a GeekWire report estimated less than one minute to snap a selfie, crop the photo, and print it on the tissue box-sized machine.

“We will not only introduce our new product [at CES 2017] but also carry forward a business with detailed marketing and sales strategies through meetings with buyers from around the world,” the company said.
The ubiquitous sticky note has been a tech industry favorite for years: In 2013, note-taking app Evernote and Post-It maker 3M partnered to let folks quickly snap photos of notes, then store them in the application.
iOS, Android, and Windows Phone users can simply place a brightly colored Post-It on a contrasting background and hold their phone’s camera up to auto-scan into Evernote. Once imported, paper memos are searchable and can be organized by color.
