Razer Offers $10 Apology for Keyboard Packaging Typo

Razer has apologized for a spelling mistake on its DeathStalker V2 Pro keyboard(Opens in a new window) packaging that I doubt many people even noticed was there.

As readers regularly tell me via email (thank you), we all make spelling mistakes and fail to spot them before hitting the publish button, but Razer missed a doozy. As PC Gamer reports(Opens in a new window), Razer managed to spell performance wrong, and the V2 Pro box proclaims the keyboard instead has “high-peformance wireless.”

The mistake also occurred on the tenkeyless version of the keyboard, and Razer apologized by way of a tweet(Opens in a new window) for “not meeting our own meticulous design standards.” Rightly so, the company decided against scrapping and recalling the packaging as that, “wouldn’t be in line with our sustainability commitment.”

Instead, if anyone who owns the DeathStalker V2 Pro is unhappy about the spelling mistake on their packaging, Razer is offering a $10 RazerStore discount code(Opens in a new window) if they take the time to contact support(Opens in a new window). So count yourself lucky if you do own this keyboard with “high-peformance wireless,” because it can be used to save some cash on another Razer product.
