Asus may not be a household name yet, but the company makes a full line of laptops from inexpensive everyday systems to high-end gaming and ultralight devices. Asus customers are very pleased with their notebooks and we’re hopeful that the improvements in its tech support satisfaction will soon bring Asus’s support on par with the best organizations in the industry.

Samsung may be known more for its phones, HDTVs, and tablets, but the company earned its second Readers’ Choice Award in three years thanks to its excellent overall satisfaction rating. Samsung is also one of the most reliable brands, having the smallest percentage of units needing repair over the last 12 months.

Toshiba Corp.
Toshiba’s laptops for work were rated highest in overall satisfaction among Windows PC manufacturers and it had the smallest percentage of laptops needing repair. In addition, Toshiba’s new laptops were among the highest rated in this year’s Readers’ Choice survey.

While the percentage of units needing repairs increased compared with last year, we were pleased to see substantial improvements in satisfaction with Apple’s already excellent technical support and repair service.
