Why should grown-ups have all the fun? The kid-friendly Yeehaw(Opens in a new window) 3D printer launched today(Opens in a new window) on Indiegogo, promising the first 375 supporters a discount and holiday delivery.

Kids can design their own toys, accessories, and jewelry, or pick from a curated library of more than 2,000 ready-to-print knicknacks. The Yeehaw was designed with children’s safety in mind; the device sports 360-degree transparent walls, non-toxic filament, and a safety door. Its automatic stop function kicks in if the printer is moved, tilted, or disturbed; the nozzle automatically halts and retracts itself.

The device syncs with a dedicated mobile app, giving children “the confidence and ability to explore the possibilities, ignite their imaginations, and develop their passions,” the campaign page says.

Now through Black Friday, 50 printers are available for $269, packaged with three colored filaments in silver, gold, white, black, brown, red, orange, yellow, cyan, sky blue, purple, or pink. Another 50 people can snag a machine with one filament for $249 or purchase one of the 250 machines on sale for $299.

Shopping for friends? Yeehaw is selling 25 sets of two printers (plus two filaments) for $525.

The first 375 backers can expect their Yeehaw printer to arrive by Dec. 25. But if you’re not in a hurry, the China-based manufacturer is offering Indiegogo supporters a premium $349 price for one 3D printer and one filament for delivery in February.

Additional printing materials are available in three tiers: one for $20 (retail price $30), three for $59, or six for $115. Buyers can choose preferred colors via an email sent prior to delivery.
