Microsoft Tips Xbox One Game Lineup Ahead of Gamescom

Ahead of the Gamescom conference in Germany, Microsoft today revealed(Opens in a new window) its official Xbox One game lineup, which now sits at 50 titles.

The list was released alongside a new teaser trailer(Opens in a new window) (below) that boasted: The best games are on Xbox One.

Microsoft said that 38 percent of the 50 titles will be exclusive to the Xbox One, while 37 percent are brand-new IP. Meanwhile, 44 percent include timed or exclusive content for Redmond’s new console.

The company stressed that the list is current as of today and will likely expand as more games are announced – including news coming out of Gamescom.

“We’re really excited to see the positive response to the Xbox One games line-up and remain committed to making Xbox One the best place to play games,” Microsoft said in a statement.

Also at Gamescom, Sony plans to unveil release information about the PS4 at a press event on Tuesday. It kicks off at 1 p.m. Eastern and will be live-streamed on the Gamescom website.
