We won’t know until January who’s hitting the field at California Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl 50. But football fans can start prepping for the big day via a new virtual reality event.

Visa and Bank of America last week introduced the New England Patriots 360-degree Video Experience(Opens in a new window), which transports viewers into the action.

Watch from the sidelines or get into the middle of the plays by using your mouse to click and drag the YouTube video, moving the camera up, down, left, and right. Or strap a Google Cardboard Viewer onto your head for a smoother experience—on the field, in the locker room, and at the training facility. Spectators at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts this weekend, home of the New England Patriots, were able to snag(Opens in a new window) a free, limited-edition Google Cardboard viewer.

The Visa/BoA video requires the latest versions of the Chrome, Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer browsers.

The New York Times last month delivered more than a million Cardboards to home-delivery subscribers as part of a new virtual reality project. Similarly, Verizon handed out free Star Wars-themed viewers last week, ahead of the new film’s Dec. 18 release.
