Looking to see a show? Google has made its easier to purchase event tickets right from its search results page.
Building on last year’s addition(Opens in a new window) of official tour dates to its Knowledge Graph, Google today said that webmasters can now add some code that will result in more details about artists showing up in Google.com results, from official ticket links and delegated event listings to comedy events and venue info.

Webmasters can visit Google’s blog post(Opens in a new window) for more details about how to get their site’s details to show up more prominently on Google.com. For some services—like Bandsintown, BandPage, GigPress, ReverbNation, or Songkick—sites can install an event widget that adds the code automatically.
Theaters, libraries, concert halls, fairgrounds, and other venues that already list events with popular sites like Ticketmaster, TicketWeb, Ticketfly, or LaughStub can also leave the heavy lifting up to Google.
Google is also showcasing the social profile links(Opens in a new window) of various brand names, including Pixar, Apple, Starbucks, and, of course, Google.
To be featured, add your company’s profile information(Opens in a new window) to your Knowledge Graph entry, and users will be able to quickly access your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and MySpace pages, without leaving the search results.
