Squarespace, a leading do-it-yourself website builder, just got more affordable.

For just $3 a month, Cover Pages lets users pick from 28 templates, and have a simple site up in a matter of minutes with audio, video, and social media account integration.

The Cover Pages builder was announced with the launch of a new site-builder interface version, Squarespace 7. The platform includes integration with Getty Images, letting users tap a wealth of pro photography for their sites.

“As we’ve grown, we’ve noticed the opportunity to provide more tailored experiences to particular customer groups,” said Anthony Casalena, CEO and Founder of Squarespace. “Not every Squarespace customer launching a simple idea needs a multi-page website.”

Squarespace also announced new commerce tools because “the merchants on our platform have shown an increasing demand for more sophisticated functionalities,” Casalena said.

The company has four new templates specifically targeting online selling, as well as mobile apps, now in beta (sign up here(Opens in a new window)), for managing commerce sites. Squarespace commerce sites will be able to provide visitors with real-time shipping quotes from FedEx and UPS, or send email reminders to site visitors who’ve abandoned their online shopping carts.

Plans for online stores start at $26 per month and all new accounts include a free custom domain name.
