Your new American Girl doll is stuck in 1986: the era of big hair, bright fashion, and video games.

Courtney Moore is the newest addition(Opens in a new window) to the American Girl series, and she brings a new twist: She really likes retro video games—so much so that there’s a $149.99 doll-sized, working Pac-Man game(Opens in a new window) that you can buy along with the $110 doll.

The entire collection, including a see-through phone that lights up and rings, a pretend cassette player and tape, and pretend Lip Smacker lip balm, is available online for purchase(Opens in a new window) now and in stores on Sept. 25 in the US.

Courtney is intended to inspire young girls to consider careers in game development. Her backstory stretches over two books and focuses on her desire to create her own video game. She has strong role models in her life, such as her politically minded mother and the astronauts on the Space Shuttle Challenger.

In order to help girls with real-life technology aspirations, American Girl announced a partnership with Girls Who Code(Opens in a new window), a leading nonprofit that helps girls acquire the necessary skills they need to succeed in tech. American Girl will match customer donations to Girls Who Code from now through Dec. 31 up to $50,000, and the company will offer four Girls Who Code girls a $5,000 scholarship.
