Surface users, rejoice: Instagram has arrived(Opens in a new window) on tablets running Windows 10.
The free app(Opens in a new window) is now in Microsoft’s App Store and includes all major features like Stories, direct messages, and the Explore feed. Plus, mobile photographers can capture, edit, and share filtered images directly from their tablet.

Instagram arrived on Windows 10 in April, but only on mobile. It included all the features iOS and Android users are familiar with, as well as support for Live Tiles, so updates appear right on your home screen.
Instagram is also available on certain Android tablets; it’s not yet available on iPad as a standalone app.
It’s been a busy few months for Instagram. Amidst its rollout of a new algorithmic feed, the company added a share extension for posting content from other iOS apps, as well as a translation button. In June, it topped 500 million global users.
